Compared with ordinary PCR instruments, the fluorescent quantitative PCR machine has a fluorescence signal acquisition system and a computer analysis and processing system. The real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR machine is mainly used to quantitatively analyze and determine the level of gene transcription.

Precautions for using fluorescent quantitative PCR system:

1. Avoid corrosive liquids from contacting the sample tank to prevent the surface of the sample tank from being corroded, causing uneven heating of the sample.

2. Avoid sharing a power interface between the PCR machine and high-power instruments such as refrigerators. The current fluctuation of high-power instruments will cause the operation of the PCR machines to be unstable or even restart. If it is a quantitative PCR machine, it will affect the intensity of the collected fluorescent signal and cause fluctuations in the amplification curve.

3. During the operation of the instrument, it is forbidden to forcibly cut off the power supply to end the program, because after the power is cut off, the fan is forced to stop, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the internal components of the instrument, affecting the service life of the components.

4. If it is found that the cooling speed of the instrument is significantly slower than normal, the instrument is hot, or the temperature drop does not reach the set temperature, please check whether there are foreign objects blocking the air inlet and outlet.

5. If a single PCR tube is used for the experiment and the sample volume is relatively small, in order to ensure that the hot cover is pressed flat on all sample tubes, it is recommended to place 4 empty tubes of the same type at the four corners of the sample slot.

6. Please be sure to set the last step of the PCR reaction as required to avoid excessive wear and tear of the compressor.
